Our most recent Suzuki Book Club meeting met on Sunday 25th April. We discussed the wonderful book Mindset by Carol Dweck, with fantastic presentations from Catherine Hey, Suzuki violin teacher in the UK, Vourneen Ryan, performance psychologist and flute tutor with the Royal Irish Academy of Music, and Kate Conway, Suzuki Hub director.

Suzuki Book Club was launched on Sunday 24th May on zoom. We discussed Dr. Suzuki’s Nurtured by Love, and had wonderful presentations from Sue Bird, Hannah Barton, Ruth Miura, Mauro Levrin and Edmund Sprunger.

The second Suzuki Book Club was on Sunday 5th July. We discussed Ability Development from Age Zero with panelists Kate Conway, Betty Power and Margaret Parkin.

This book club covered the presenters' thoughts on early childhood education, child development, social justice and what that means for Suzuki teachers in 2020.

Kate Conway presents Suzuki Book Club with presenters Edmund Sprunger and Kimberley Wong. Recorded on zoom on 30.8.20.
