All LSG string players are invited to join our groups concert at the beautiful Shoreditch Town Hall on Sunday 26th April 2026. This concert will showcase groups made up of individuals from all over London. There will be online practise videos, an optional online rehearsal for the playtogether on Sunday 19th April from 10am until 11am, and in-person rehearsals on concert day.
Join us for a fantastic rehearsal experience followed by an inspiring concert in one of London’s most gorgeous venues, directed by Kate Conway, and compered by Jane Afia.

Click the button below to access annotated music for the non-Suzuki pieces being performed at this concert. Practise videos will be coming after February half term. Suzuki repertoire will be performed as per the Suzuki books except for Moon over the Ruined Castle (Cello Group 1) which is in a different key. The music is in the folder for this piece.
Rehearsals: Sunday 19th April, optional online rehearsal between 10am and 11am for playtogether pieces only. Concert director Kate Conway will also be available during this zoom rehearsal to answer any questions you may have.

Please note Minuet 3 will be played as printed in book 3, so the first time through VG1 will play it with repeats, then they will wait while VG2 plays the Minor Minuet, then they will play Minuet 3 again with no repeats as a da capo.
Performers do not need to be able to play both of these pieces to join this group, they can sign up to perform just Minuet 3 if necessary.
